So a question about active and passive defences. Basically with Dodge and Evade can you call those to "keep" your active defences because in essence you weren't hit?
For example: if I have a Magic Armor active and something hits me for "9 Normal" and then immediately follows it up with a "Prepare to die 50 Slay" could I call "Evade, Magic Armor"? Or would the Magic Armor be used up on the first hit before I could call an Evade?
Basically can Evade (or Doge for that matter) be called before a protective? The thinking being if you use one of those defences the blow never struck you so it wouldn't set off the protective.
