We were talking about lighting in an HQ thread, and I thought I'd share some info with anyone looking for a kick *** liquid light phys rep. I ordered a couple from TechnoMoves, a site that sells LED glow sticks for raving. I bought a fluorescent green Streetlight LED glow stick, and a green Ilumix LED glow stick.
The streetlight LED glow stick is very bright, especially in fluorescent green. The only downside to it is it has three settings--chasing, strobe, and constant. You have to hit the power button three times to get to constant, but if you are fast enough you can do it without noticing the other two settings. You can just RP it as getting your light to work. This one is super bright and works great for outdoor night travels. As I said in the HQ thread, it's best to stand in the front of your group, and hold it over your head with your hand covering the back of the light. This way the light shines forward and it doesn't blind any one.
The Ilumix LED glow stick worked fantastic for trap mods. It's not as blinding, but it is perfect for dark, indoor areas. It's great for disarming traps since directly staring at it won't blind you like the streetlight LED glow stick will.
Both of these lights serve their purposes well. They are affordable, and I can't recommend them enough to people looking for a good liquid light phys rep. If you just need something bright, stick with the streetlight LED, but it never hurts to have a few extra phys reps. My advice--find a bunch of people who want these and order them all together to save on shipping!
