Should I take affiance from the comic a bout homo marge? Oddly enough I now wish I had it on a shirt....

You shouldn't take offense from *any* of the political cartoons Mike posts. They're political commentary about situations. Sometimes they're funny, sometimes not so much. Sometimes he manages to find some from the other side of the fence from his views, sometimes not. They're just comics.

That particular comic is making fun of people who are certain that gay marriage will ruin our life, and shows how silly they are because gays are the same as everyone else -- they garden, clean house, and pay bills.

I choose cartoons with views I agree with (and yes, sometimes they come from both sides of the political aisle, because stupidity and dumb government can come from any direction), but anyone can certainly post their own favorites in this thread.

Ya o thought it was making fun of the "normals"... and there closed mindedness, i just couldn't tell 100%. all good however, as this lez (me)is not taken a back by simple comics.

I am someone who was originally excited about the idea of another Paul running for office. Even though I am a voluntaryist I still look at someone like Ron Paul and wish we had more people like him in office. So when Rand decided to run I donated $20 to his campaign. I eventually learned he is but a shadow of his father and regret ever donating money to his campaign. Rand Paul is not a libertarian. He is simply a republican with libertarian leanings on some issues.

As for the issue of discrimination I'd like for you guys to listen to this mp3 I've uploaded in video format to YouTube. It's an exert from last night's (5/24) episode of Free Talk Live, and it explains the true freedom-minded viewpoint on businesses & discrimination. Mark & Ian are the co-hosts. Ian is a voluntaryist who isn't a fan of Rand Paul, and Mark is a minarchist-type who thinks electing someone who gets 90% of the liberty message is better than the other choices (and therefore a push in the right direction).

They continue to talk about this issue after the break. I'm still listening to last night's show via podcast. You can download it for free off their website, but it includes commercials. I donate to FTL monthly and get access to their commercial-free podcasts. I've been kind enough to upload it here for anyone interested in listening:
