Hey boys and girls!

Me and Nate are planning a fieldtrip to Camlann Medieval Village in Carnation, WA. For those of you who've never been Camlann is a functioning Medieval village set in Chaucer's England circa 1376. It includes a real tavern, archery range, Clothier, Sword fighting demonstrations, crafters, dancing, minstrels and much much more. Check out http://www.camlann.org/summer_festivals.htm for more info.

Tickets are $10 at the door. If you want to be a part of the Feast you have to mail a check in advance for $45. http://www.camlann.org/feast_reservations.htm for feast ticket orders.

Bring Cash!!! There were no credit cards in 1376!

We would love to get together a group to bounce around the fair with. Post here or PM if you're interested. I plan to gather people at our place in seattle around 10:30AM on Saturday, August 20th. My intent is to be to the fair by noon. We can carpool or meet up at the fair.

"There were no utensils in medieval times, hence there are no utensils AT Medieval Times. Would you like a refill on that Pepsi?"
"There were no utensils but there was Pepsi? "

the only memorable quote I can think of from the Cable Guy.

So on account of the fact that we have no takers and Nate now has to work, it appears the fieldtrip is cancelled.
