I noticed that there will be 35 GS awarded for attending the FP. Are these considered "games" in that those GS may immediately be traded into XP?
I'd also like to point out that 35 GS buys more then the equivelent amount of xp as a gameday. What is the reasoning behind this?

Not as I understand it. It is just an incentive to get people to show up to fighter practices so we can all learn to be safer fighters, help out the chapter if needed, and get downtime RP taken care of.

The GS awards are to try to get people to come to the fighter practice. Keep in mind that this is also a time to access plot people, chat with fellow players, do downtime RP with players, downtime storylining with plot, etc., as well as getting better with your weapons and ngetting to know the people you are playing with.
At this time, they aree not considered games, though,m if we can get more people attending local day events, such as this fighter practgiceand game days, we are also looking at regular tavern nights and "mod days" since there are several chaacters who could benefit from mods at this point.
