We will be hosting a fight practice at Como Park Saturday February 6th for your opportunity to warm up and de-rust before our February one-day event! Marshals will be on-hand to answer any questions about new characters, rules, or anything else. We will be practicing towards the northern end of the park, across from the soccer field parking, next to the large chimney structure.

Practice will begin at 10am, most people will be on site until around 1pm.

Remember that gobbies are rewarded for attendance, more for bringing in a friend that is new to the game.

If you use Google street view look south to see the parking area, and north to see the practice area (although the large flat area at the top doesn't show)

Would it be possible to get weapon phys reps safety-approved at this practice? I plan on being there for the first hour-ish (need to be somewhere at noon) and I'm making some short claws and other weapon phys reps to donate for gobbies, glorious gobbies!

Also, is being in costume for this expected/encouraged?
 
We can definately have your weapons safety check at the practice, as for costuming its neither encouraged or discouraged, generally people will arrive wearing regular clothes or a few basic pieces of costuming (I personally generally bring my cloak when I remember it to practice avoiding catching to many packets).
 
Sarah and I may be wearing some new armor so we can get used to swinging around in it. But probably not full out costumes.
 
Him talking about gobbies reminds me: How many do we get for showing up? I always forget.
 
5 for showing up 20 for bringing someone new.
 
I will be coming, and it will be my first official practice ever!

Sam and I will be there as well, looks be be shaping up to be quite the get together!
 
My friend and I will also be there for our first practice (& larp-related activity). Yay! Newbness.
