Followup Question about "untagged weapon reps"

If you can cut someone out of an entangle with an untagged weapon rep, does this mean that you can cut someone out of an entangle with a shattered weapon?

Is there any way at all to prevent someone from having the means to cut another out of an entangle? Can you disarm an untagged weapon rep?

An appropriate untagged weapon physrep, as per the prior ARC clarification, is fine for the purpose of cutting Entangles.
