Friend in SF area

I have a friend who will be in Albany from January 'til late March. He hasn't done a lot of LARPing yet, but since he's leaving before the Seattle games start up again I was wondering if there would be any games he could try out there while he's in town. He would be NPCing.

Had a somewhat topic related inquiry so i decided to post here. Just wondering if anyone from the SF chapter would be at the national event. I'm very interested to meet you guys if so and ask some questions. I am from SF but didn't start playing alliance til i moved to MN. Just wondering about maybe playing there when i go home to visit sometimes.
