Game Day Greatness

I would just like to take a moment to thank all of staff and the NPC's for running a great game day this last Sunday.

I had a good time with several intense moments, I loved the riddle and the maze puzzle. Combat was scaled pretty good, the encounters were spread out with enough smaller things in between so that it didn't feel like a meat grinder.

While destroying the dam it was a great suprize when the banging started. It definately added a sense of urgency that I feel is normally missing for encounters like this.

And that last little bit of combat where we were not just fighting the golums, but also trying to get away from the breaking dam as well..

I agree, it was quite nice for a first game, though i had no idea what to expect..and the plot people integrated me into things quite well, thank you all *s* i look forward to not only much more fun combat in the future, but more chances to roleplay and pull off some great interaction *even if it's not pleasant, heh*

I though for a moment we were going to lose someone on the dam. I am so glad that I was wrong.

well you and I were last off so, it would have been one of us.

Like I said I am so glad I was wrong. It felt like only a few seconds after we all were off the bridge/dam that it gave way.

Without conflict what would there be, everything that makes roleplaying great boils down somewhere to somesort of conflict. It is what you do that makes all the differance

definitely. I'd love to get into more of a discussion with your feline companion as well *s* i think there was a miscommunication regarding my view on revenge. I'm ALL for vengeance, as long as it doesn't affect the lives/livelihood of innocents who never wronged you. Once vengeance spills over into random bloodshed and mindless assault, that's where i have issue with it.
And I'm glad to know forethought was given to alerting the villagers ahead of time.

Now I'm just hoping to run into the Countess again.

the gameday was fun and happy ^^

I liked being a high orc with 3 slays o___o that was really awsome

...but even happier than that was being thrown off the dam as a goblin x3 ... as a sacrifice O___O
