gameday on the 11th

It looks like i won't be able to make it after all, i'm cramming in as much work on the ADR for my film as possible and since the actors are only available on the weekends, i need to prioritize *i know, i know :p*

i'm sorry if it dissapoints anyone, but have fun for me, and if anyone feels like giving the Merchant's Guild hell in my stead... *grin*

I hear that. I can't make the Game Day this weekend either. My boyfriend might go, but I need to shoot. And if the people I've gotten as crew can't shoot again for me this weekend, I'm going to try and ask my boyfriend to help me. Granted it is going to kind of suck. HELL! It's already going to suck because I cannot get my hands on a lighting kit. Maybe when I pick up my camera equipment this weekend I'll try and ask them if they have any to spare anyway. Some people do change their minds. Good thing I'm my only actor or should I say actress. *laughs* That means I don't have to worry about complaints from the talent except coming from myself about how the lighting for the scene I dislike and what not. HA! Have fun with your work.

Very cool. i decided to skip the school part and go straight into the work *heh*..we're nearly done with our first feature length film, and have a 5 minute Edward Gorey short film also under our belt..

That's really cool. I wish I could already be in the field working myself, but the classes are teaching me how to improve my skills as far as lighting technique and shooting goes. I'm also learning that revising scripts is something I seem to like doing. O.O When I first entered the school I thought all I wanted to do was Post-Production work, mainly the visual editing aspect, but as time went on I realized I wanted to be much more versatile. I am slowly working my way in that direction anyway.

GOOD for you!!! diversity is definitely the way to go, in my opinion. the more you can do, the more valuable you are to others, AND the more you can get done yourself and make sure it's done the way you want *heh*

*Nods* Right now I detest working alone on major projects. It's a major pain. *Feels like there was a film pun in there.* But I manage as best as possible. Luke is going to hopefully be helping me with some shooting tomorrow considering I able to even get a camera with a lighting kit tomorrow. *mutters something about her instructor not being available to sign her equipment sheet.*
