The plan is simple thus, warriors of Andar, Parna, and lands abroad, chosen of fate...
We will attempt to gain entry to the main island of Silverhome, transportation is being worked on as we speak.
Once there we will find a suitable location to perform a take and hold.
We will hold this spot against all comers for as long as is needed.
Expect waves of horrible, shrieking, sanity destroying undead.
Upon completion we will effect a breakout of trapped forces, namely us.
We'll either be home before dinner victorious, or home much sooner in the earth circle.
The night we gather will be a time for a disseminating of the finalized plans, and to prepare your gear, ready your blades, bows, spells, and wits.
I know many of our scholars are engaged in formal writs. I would like to speak to the various leaders of the Adventuring groups to go over the specifics.
Daytime we shall hunt, the earlier the better, much like when we fought Darkness we will want to rise early, and gather as swiftly as possible, I would like to begin our slog to the isles no later than the 10th bell of the day. If all goes well we can start our engagement by high sun.
This will be grueling. There is conflict in both the fae realms, and the principle elemental realms as well. No matter which route we take to get where we are going, expect conflict.
That said know that the wraith king will not go quietly into the night, most of us have fought him before. He summons undead to him as often as he can speak the words, and as soon as he feels threatened. We have pieced together much of his history, most of it is so old as to be disregarded largely as legend, and folklore. It is vastly important that each and every one who embarks upon this endeavor be fully aware of the risk to life limb, spirit, and sanity that will be faced. I highly suggest bringing everything that you can to bear upon this hated foe, for it will spare no expense to annihilate us. Dig deep into your reserves of courage and resources that they may carry you to victory, in other words, if you have been stashing things, now is the time to dip into said stash. He is powerful, and more so for the spirits he has consumed over the aeons to fuel is power. We have certainly hurt him, but we will have to do much more this time than hurt him. He must needs be dispatched.
Everyone's contributions are as critical as they are vital, and welcome. Though you may feel ineffectual each strike you block is one less that can land upon a companion. Each lesser undead that you smite, is one less to get in the way and foul the legs, and arms of the stronger warriors among us. For us to be successful all of us must bring our absolute best to the field or we shall fall. The chaff as I call it must be peeled away from the wraithking that he may be set upon torn apart and destroyed. For those of you experienced, and seasoned it will be a test of restraint, and a test of timing. To hold back until we have him dead to rites, then unleashing your abilities that we might bring this legend low.
