Good people of Valdanis,

His Majesty, King Daefell, left Valdanis for a time to answer a call to defend all of Fortannis from a great threat. He has returned from the mists and brings with him news of his mission and what it means for the future of the Kingdom of Valdanis and for all the kingdoms of Fortannis. He has made it known that he intends to travel the lands of Valdanis and hold gatherings to discuss this and other business concerning our Kingdom. To this end, he has ordered gatherings of nobles, squires and adventurers to discuss his plans to defend Fortannis from future threats. One of these gatherings shall take place on the west coast of Valdanis in Outpost Northpointe on the last Saturday of the month of September. Those nobles, adventurers or common soldiers of rank, whose estates or homes that are in the Duchies of Concordia, New Malladonia, or the territories between, are expected to attend. During this gathering the King will also discuss the breakdown of the Kingdom's lands, the formation of new Duchies and the announcement of thier rulers. If there is any other buisness that requires the Kings attention it is requested that you forward it to me, so that I might add it to his Majesty's agenda.

I shall be there as well and if his majesty has time after the gathering I would like to give him the results of the mineral survey that was conduct all of last year.

Are these meetings for only those within his highness' court or are foreign diplomats also welcome? I would not want to take time from his highness.

Indeed, any traveling adventurer, diplomat or noble may attend this meeting. This threat is to all of Fortannis and all must be made aware of its implications.
