Get off our land Elves!

I've remained quiet, but with Winter fast approaching I feel I needed to get this off my chest. You Elves have done a terrible job of keeping The Eternal Empire safe. You let the trees become tainted, and the lands Corrupt. We wake up to find all of you forgetting the importance of nature. Well, I'm sick of you all occupying our land. I have complete respect for Maia, for The Eternal Leaf Crown, but I simply can't get along with these custodians who failed in their job we left them. I know there are others who feel the same.

- Plu Berryborrow

Plu Berryborrow,

Elves and Dryads are united under the Leaf Crown and the others who were bound by the Elder Trees.

Yes, there were mistakes but, you cannot undo what has been done. Not every elf failed to protect the lands nor, has every dryad that has awoken completely devoted themselves to the land. My mother accepted all dryads who awoke in Whistel's Tree and stood against the purge of the forest. An entire faction of elves risked everything to guard the forest.

The Eternal Empire is now a blended family, in a matter of speaking. Every blended family takes work and there are growing pains. I understand your frustration and to keep your feelings burried only allows that wound to fester. Would you be willing to sit and discuss?

Thank you,
Lady Liddia FallingStar

You Dryads think you own this land? Laughable. You slept through the most pressing time of our nation's history, and then conveniently woke up after. Where were you all when that Lich rifted into the Crystal Gardens with an army of those charred beings? Where were you during the chaos, and the death? The former Eternal Leaf Crown was even slain by these creatures. You didn't rise to help us, you have no claim!

AND now, you are waking more more Dryads, to likely take this great nation by force, don't think we haven't noticed!

I will use Charm, charm, charmaty charm if I want too....stupid elves.

There is too much hostility here. *Soothing calm voice*

Yesterday is history,
tomorrow is a mystery,
today is a gift.

Enjoy this present.
Do not let the things that cannot be changed ruin today and tomorrow.

Go back to your Hamlet of Elves LADY Fallinstar.

Respectively,

Hey everyone! I'm Silp! I'm not anyone important, and you don't need to listen to me, but I think it would be a good idea!

I know everyone's a little upset right now, but let's calm down, smile, and make this work! As much as I don't wanna say it, both the Dryads and the Elves have actually sorta messed up over the years, and we just need to come to terms with that! The Dryads went to sleep and weren't there to help when things got bad, the Elves weren't able to protect the land by themselves, so it was both of our faults that things got bad! We've kinda just gotta accept that what's happened happened and we can't change that it did, but now we're both here together, and we can change what happens next!

When I find a dead stump in the woods, I don't get angry 'cause the tree was cut down or died for any other reason - I get happy because it means there's a new opportunity for more life to grow in the soil there! Let's take this whole dead stump of an issue and make it a new fertile patch of land to grow a better Eternal Leaf Empire out of! Neither the Elves nor the Dryads can do it alone, and we certainly can't do it if we're too busy fightin' with each other! Things'll just get worse if we're doin' that, with the forest and everyone that lives there sufferin' for it! None of us want that!

Gettin' mad at someone for the past is just gonna make the future harder! It's a lot easier to smile and be someone's friend than to hold a grudge! We've just gotta work on movin' forward and workin' together!

~ Silp

Silp,

That was very well stated. You are correct, now it the time to grow together towards the tomorrow we all share.

Lady FallingStar

Who cares whose "fault" it is that such and such a problem with the forest arose, the point is we Elves have been here BUILDING things for centuries and now you think you can just barge in here and tear it all down to make way for your groves? The Legacy Oaks have stood for hundreds of years--that is the true heart of the Eternal Empire! You can't cut down our HOMES and expect us to just step aside and let you plant your disorganized gardens where we used to live and work. This country is ours, and no dirt-sniffing Dryad will push me out of the rank I spent my life earning. I don't want my children to grow up in an Empire where they don't know the meaning of their family's Diplos ranking!

Illthyria Lushinaria, Diplos #497

Ranking? I knew that's all you Elves cared for! You have no love of nature, no love of this land and merely seek to gain fancy titles and status to make yourselves feel important. If your homes didn't destroy the original foundation my kin laid, then we wouldn't need to plant anew. Since you enjoy titles so much, here is one for you Elf:

HOW DARE YOU! How many trees is an Elf's livelihood worth to you? Who are YOU to say that our way of life has no value? The Oaks are not just our homes and businesses; they represent GENERATIONS of sweat and toil, and your kind will not disrespect what we have built while you were busy napping, not if I have anything to say about it. Go back to bed, barkface!

--Ansara Miltreio

Watch it girl, maybe your malformed ears didn't hear right the first time. Like we're going to rest and leave the Eternal Empire back into your pale hands again. I bet the Empire wouldn't last another 3 years before you manage to let it be corrupted again. Look at you all, you're even tempting fate by putting some Hamlet next to the Spirit Wood. First you DESTROY the great trees of this land, but then you dare use your quote unquote love of them as a defense?

He was right about all of you Elves and we are not going to sit by and watch this nation rot!

- Plu

Kill the elf, bash its head, lets start peeling them, hear thats how you make ritual scrolls.

Ironic, you skin us for much less.

Feyander

This agression needs to stop.

Neither race can move forward if each keeps blaming the other.

Please think about what you are saying. I know that this is not an easy transition. Forgiveness is the only way for everyone to move towards a better future. Do not let hatred grow in your hearts and rot at your reason.

Lady Liddia FallingStar

Lady Fallingstar,

While I can appreciate what you're trying to do - it's not really your place to step in. This is an internal matter of a foreign nation, and as a noble of Wayside, you shouldn't be meddling in another country's affairs.

Eric Marsters
Champion of the Elder Trees

The barely-Elf names itself Champion, but it has no claim. It interferes in other nations' affairs. The Fallen Star has claim in both kingdoms.

The voice of the Forest split the crown. This one agreed to it when he was groggy, half-asleep. Still wiping the sleep from his eyes and a compromise is proposed. But this one is awake now.

The Elves busy themselves with numbers and papers. What is a number to a name? The Crown will return to its rightful bearers.

GIVE ALL THE LAND TO ME!

Clearly this will solve the problem. You're welcome.

But then undead will come everyone knows Gypsy bring undead...and I just woke up like a year ago.. so like everyone literally

Hey! Don't you dare bass Lady Fallingstar! She is the Lady of Nayma and you should show respect! Our town has never been happier, she is a loving and caring caretaker and we wouldn't have it any other way. If you so much as say another ill word towards her, you'll have to take it up with the rest of the hamlet. We will gladly fight for our Lady, and you can be certain we'll die for her cause if need be! Nayma stands with you my lady!
