At the August event, there will be 2 runs of mods to explore caves known to be inhabited by ghouls. Here are a few Marshal Notes to set expectations for both groups. This is a general warning that, hey, ghouls don't live in the most comfortable of environments:

- Run 1 of 2: 9:30 pm. Please meet at Troop House. Game will have begun by this time.
Run 2 of 2: 11:00 pm. Please meet at Troop House. - Location is Troop House, so there may be quite a walk between the mods and town, involving Cardiac Hill. The OOG location will be as far from town IG as it is OOG.
- Make sure you're well informed on the details of your character's goals for entering the ghoul caves because there will be no punches pulled vis-à-vis attainment of those goals. These mods will be run unscaled.
- These mods will offer physical challenges that may require players to crawl for extended periods of time. If available at the camp, we will try to put down mattresses for your OOG comfort. Not wholly sure that matresses will be available until we get there on Friday.
- These modules are in subterrean caves IG and will be presented in a very dark environment. PCs must bring their own light sources to see in the caves. Light source physreps must conform to the guidelines per the Light spell description on p. 119 of the ARB (cloth cover or the like over flahslights, nothing too bright, no being a jerk and shining your flashlight in NPCs' eyes, etc.).
- These mods may involve use of fog machines. Please let me know BEFORE FRIDAY if anyone in your party has asthma or may otherwise be hampered by this OOG, and I can scratch the cool fog.
- There will be loud noises in the darkness, and other sensory inputs delivered in these mods. The setting is intended to be disorienting and occassionally gross.
- Ghouls are mean. And smart. Due to previous interactions between the ghouls and specific PCs going on each of these two runs, there is significant chance for killing blow, actions taken to ensure resurrection, loss of digits, ears, eyes, limbs that you really weren't using anyway, loss of treasures and precious belongings, resurrection, and potential transformation into as yet unexplored forms of being. Participant players are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the rules regarding transformation under the heading, "Recipient Characters" on p. 133 of the ARB.
