Yes, animal parts. Horns, bones, leather, claws, feathers, fur, etc.
I stumbled across hideandfur.com when kicking around some armoring ideas, they have a great selection of items for making barbarian or scavenger costuming. They aren't the best source for cowhide leather, they have it, but it's sold by the whole hide, but they do have good prices on furs and such. Plus, they have a link to another LARP on their links page, so they must be cool people.

If you're looking for a good, delicious way to get bones:

Order some Buffalo Wings from whatever source you can.
Eat them.
Take the bones and boil them in water for 15 minutes to help get the rest of the meat off
Clean the bones
Place the bones in a solution of 25% hydrogen Peroxide, 75% water and leave it overnight.

The solution will bleach the bones for you to a nice white. And buffalo wing bones make great 'toggles' for such things as buttons or flap closures.

As for feathers, hit a pigeon with a 12 gauge and then just hold open a bag for the fallout.
