If you can think of any good gossip from the weekend, please send it to me, either via a PM or send it to mikestrauss@yahoo.com.

Each distinct piece of gossip is worth 2 goblin stamps. You can get easy goblin stamps just by sharing interesting tidbits. The newsletter editor (me) may choose not to use what you send in, but you get rewarded for it whether it is used or not. Also, it doesn't matter if what you send is unique. If you and someone else send in the same gossip, you will both receive credit and be rewarded. Please don't abuse this by having everyone on a team all send the same gossip. I want to encourage people to send, not game the system.

Having received some submissions (more are always appreciated and rewarded), I'd like to make a note about the difference between gossip and rumors.

Rumors tend to talk about people in the general or abstractly.
For example: Corbin is rumored to be a necromancer.

Gossip is actual description of actions or words taken by a character that can be interpreted in a less than flattering way (including just amusing or embarrassing).
For example: Corbin was idly chatting with Mourna the Lich for over an hour. Might the young adventurer have necromantic tendencies?


Your gossip doesn't have to make the conclusion directly, but if you aren't detailing something "interesting" that happened over the last weekend, it isn't very helpful.
