Booyah!
Yeah, I'm especially excited to be finally fielding a new character, but also finally playing a character (in person) of whom I've RP'd as in text-based and graphical games online for years. However, the intimacy that I got during this event between the PCs, probably due to the size, made it a lot cooler. We came up with some awesome tactics, (although we didn't get to blow the door,) and we got to know each other much better. I'd say, even as a low-level RP-heavy character at a combat-heavy weekend, I had a fun-heavy time.

I gave an A.

The war was a backdrop that set a stage for some really cool things to happen. The Pcs were not an Army so we didnt act like one. We got chances to hit and run like a small group would. Also the feeling of dread from having no were to run made the pcs start Rping something very new "True fear" and that lead to all of us getting together and planing our last stand.

What made the event not a A+ is that npc camp knew that the PCs had put alot of time planing our last stand traps and defences and did not give us a chance to use any of them. But even with that the event was a huge one for me.

Thank you to all of our great npcs that keep it coming all weekend long. And Thank you plot for writing a cool weekend.

Got a lot to write, newsletter, other letters, favs...and I'm so tired but I'll post a quick blurb.

The plot was great. I loved the last stand feel, the being hopelessly outnumbered an without reserves to draw upon. Being a combat heavy weekend there was an excellent core group of RP intensive characters who really took it and ran. Even with combat being the main focus we managed to turn a lot of it into RP which speaks for the calibur of players, NPCs, and staff members we have. Thank you so much for an amazing weekend.

A+

I gave an A+. Sure, there were times where we welt a little like plot was "railroading us" along to what they wanted. But they did a great job then of giving us a few great explinations for WHY we needed to do things. This turned into a "midbe-level" event and rocked so much awesome sauce. with so few PCs there was suprising more down time then expected, but neither NPCs nor PCs seemed to mind have the extra time to just sit and catch their breaths. Thank you once again NPCs with close to a 1 to 1 ratio, we all wore each other out.

I gave it a A+ because I had so much fun, RP and combat. Given the low turn out, on both sides of the fence, and how much of a good time I had, it was the only grade that made sence. With a handful of NPC's I felt like we were really surounded. I didn't feel like we were stated into the ground either, but it was hard without being imposible, and the atmosphere made up for the lack of bodies. On the PC side, everyone turned into rock stars and RP and Combat were so active that again the lack of people didnt matter.

I gave the event an A.

It was phenomenally written and executed. The battles were an appropriate mix of handlable, doable if we weren't stupid, and well, we really couldn't have expected to win this one realistically. The storyline was engaging, cohesive, and created a great mood.

It would have been nice to use the trapped tavern we had set up, but everything that prevented it actually made sense. Just when we were afraid we were going to be victoms of hammer of plot, we always got a good explanation.

The new tavern stairs are wonderful.

I feel like complaining about how MUCH of the event was down by the river, but it may just be because I twisted my ankle running down the hill and had a hard time keeping up with it. Technically, it DID make sense, since that's where the Dominion were lurking closing in on the town.

Overall, one of the best written and managed events I've been in. Congrats to Ali for basically (as far as I know) running it by herself. And thanks to all of NPC camp for a wonderful job.

From being on the dark-side this time I can assure you that format/staging of the final battle occurred exactly as written in the write-up. We didn't look at what the PCs had planned and then change our plans.

Ali did a tremendously great job.

Please give Todd N. some credit too. He contributed significantly. Also, Will M. helped a lot at monster desk and I'm pretty sure Sean M. helped with running stuff a bunch too. It was a team effort.

Absolutely.

I'd also like to thank Mike V and Tom H for writing the Biata plotline that was absolutely fantastic, as well as Michelle for some of the other pieces of writing.

This was definitely a full team effort, and I would like to very much thank the staff for all their hard work.

One of the things that i said at the site to some people was that it ( the event ) felt like a mod weekend for a team. The even pc npc just shows that npcs make the game great or not. So thank you Npcs.

Tom gets more credit than me on this one. I had the basic outline, but he fleshed out the biata module(s) and the tests that the stone gave.

I just love my plot team. :)

Instead of just saying "thanks" and hogging credit, they're all jumping in and acknowledging each other's work and efforts. What an awesome bunch of people. I really feel privileged to be their HoP.

Thanks for the warm fuzzies guys.

Really, really good event. I don't know if I can say that enough. I think the scores speak for themselves. Rock on, plot, rock on!

My first A+ event ever. Never a lack of something to do (unless you were too exhausted to do anything) We even had to turn down amod!!! The monsters had us quaking in our boots hiding in the tavern building up our resolve that we will die but were gona go down fighting and take a good # of them with us.

I even think that for once the PC's had it harder than the NPC's. They got to relax in between fights we had to stay on our guard and not truely get down time. It was great.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Thank you all.
