Greetings! - New to Alliance

Hi there!

I found out about Alliance in the last month and have just about finished going through the Rulebook. I'm hoping to be ready with an outfit, weapon, and character by November's event. I'll be playing a PC and have convinced my boyfriend to be an NPC.

It's a little intimidating since there's a lot to remember, but I'll be studying up before the event.

Any tips for newcomers are welcome. I'm a first-time LARPer, but a long-time roleplayer.

Good advice! I've already joined their FB group so I can get better acquainted as well. ^_^
 
Oh hey! I don't live down there, but I do travel for one of ASF's campaigns. Are you coming to the event this weekend?
 
I'm not prepared for this weekend, but I'll be attending November's Maelstrom event. I'm still finishing up reading the rulebook, then I'll write up my backstory. I have my outfit though.
