Hello Friends,
After the completion of our first season and by requests across our initial season, MN Alliance is ready to provide its first opportunity for a guest plot event for our Aug 9-11 event slot at Fred C in Swanson & Valleyview.
For those who have not experienced a guest plot event in the past, guest plot events are an opportunity for anyone interested outside of the traditionally established plot team to have a chance to bring to life ideas they might have gained over the years and try their hand at running an Alliance event.
Those who are interested in submitting a proposal should email their proposal titled "Minnesota Guest Polt Proposal" to Gm.alliancemn@gmail.com and cc Plot.alliancemn@gmail.com
In this proposal you should provide an overview of your event structure. Include information on the plot for your event, a head of plot, plot members joining your team, and any other relevant information you would like to provide to assist us in selecting a team. Your entire event does not need to be prepared or finalized, but you should have a firm idea of what you want to run and understand that proposals with more information will be more likely to be selected. When writing out your proposal please keep the following restrictions in mind:
Plot Rules/Boundaries
1. The Event cannot take place in Evodia. (Plot/owners will help create a transition of why adventures are where they are)
2. The Event cannot use any story/information or other content from the Evodia campaign
3. You will be required to provide a detailed document of the event for approval by Ownership and the Head of Plot.
4. The Guest Plot must be a self-contained arc and cannot be a start of a series or new campaign.
5. The MN Plot team will not be involved in the planning or preparation of the event, as well as if NPCing they will not be responsible for running mods or providing game running services.
Game Running Information
1. MN Logistics will work with the guest plot team to create treasure policy including Magic items/ Scrolls/production etc.
2. Event finance/prop budget will be discussed with selected plot team post acceptance of plot proposal.
3. The plot team is expected to have a staff of at least 3 plot runners. Additionally, please list other NPCs you expect to join you.
Event Proposals are Due March 22nd at 11:59 P.M. with decisions on the selected plot team following closely after, to allow four months preparation time for the selected team. We strongly encourage anyone who has a desire to run an event, to submit a proposal but will be limited to selecting one team to run an event this season.
