At the end of an encounter description is the note under "resolution":

Resolution: Everybody dies. Either side can do this, I’m not fussy.

She has 2 characters and a third unplayed one. That's an establish Primary character, a healthy Secondary character and one more waiting in the wings. That isn't alt-itis.

I have 4 active characters and 3 unplayed ones, each homed in a different chapter. Now THAT'S alt-itis, my friend.
