Two costuming questions, dividing them into two posts for ease of viewing.
So, I'm going to be playing a high orc, and I have facial hair. My plan is to do my green base makeup over my entire face, beard included, and then do some kind of temp dye to make the beard (and hair, when I'm not wearing my leather cap) stand out. My problem is that my experience with hair dye up to now is in stuff that is either a spray that both leaves the hair really brittle and uncomfortable (and could easily get on my makeup), or actual *dye* and would delay me getting into game significantly (and could still get on my makeup). I've had the use of mascara suggested, but I'm wondering if anyone has other thoughts. My hair is on the dark side of blonde, and more than a bit curly and frizzy, if those are factors. Thanks!
