Hi everyone!
Your friendly neighborhood Logistics Manager here, with a reminder about pre-registering for the upcoming event!
Sure, it might seem EONS away, but in only a few short weeks the Halloween event will be upon us, so why not get yourself squared away now, so you can prepare for the upcoming festivities without any of that bothersome math, emailing, etc.?
For those new to the process, or even seasoned veterans simply seeking subtle suggestions suitably soonish, here's whatcha do:
1. Email Logistics at acarthialogistics@gmail.com with the name of the character you'll be playing, or simply "I'm NPCing!!!!" if you're doing that. If you're one of those people with aliases associated with your email, including your name would be polite.
1a. Don't forget to pre-pay at http://alliancedenver.com/payment.html for membership, event fees, and meal plan.
2. For new players, please include your character's name, race, class, and whatever skills you'd like. If you can include extra information such as the TYPE of weapon you'll be wielding (For example, One Handed Edge covers short sword, long sword, axe, and one-handed spears), that'd be great so we can prepare your starting equipment tags as well. If you are uncertain about any of this and have questions, feel free to ask! I'm happy to help out with this, since the more information you have going in, the faster your check-in will be!
2a. ALSO, an important note for people with magic: please include the spells you'd like to have in your spell book, as well as the spells you want to memorize for the first day of the event.
2b. People with CRAFTING skills: Please also include anything you plan to make for both days of production.
3. For returning players, please let me know what skills you'd like to purchase with your new build (people who had 15 build will now have 25, those who had 20 build will now have 28). These should be skills for which we have Teacher cards in your manila envelopes.
3a. Special note on REWRITES: Players are allowed one rewrite for their characters, which must be completed before you go into game for your second weekend event. This is to allow players who are new to Alliance some flexibility if they find that a skillset, class, etc. isn't to their liking. As such, anyone wishing to use their re-write should let me know before the Halloween event (October 25-27) so I can swap things out as needed. Simply include this in your email to pre-register.
3b. For returning check-in, please make sure to include information about which spells you'd like to memorize and any production you wish to make
4. Food: Jesse will be doing the tavern meal plan once again. I mentioned pre-paying for the meal plan above, but it merits repeating. I believe Barbara will be adding lunch to the menu, so $20 gets you meals for the entire event! If you plan to use the meal plan but aren't certain about having the money now, simply send an email to Jesse at owner@alliancedenver.com to let him know you intend to pay for the meal plan.
5. Goblin Stamps. Anyone seeking to use Goblin Stamps for production, event blankets for missed events, etc., simply include this in your email.
6. Reset At The Event: Spells reset at 6 PM on Saturday. Those who need to re-memorize spells, get new daily skills, etc., should go to Logistics at this time. Logistics will be housed within NPC camp for the next event and foreseeable future. We will try to streamline SOME things, such as item production and probably racial skills, so if you know what you want to make for both days, simply let us know ahead of time, we'll include it in your packet, and save you a trip to Logistics!
I....think that covers everything. If anyone has questions, please feel free to post them here, or email me at acarthialogistics@gmail.com. Thank you for your attention, allegedly aggrieved and astounded accordingly with alliteration.
Phew! *shakes hands free of carpal tunnel*
