Healer's Guild of New Acarthia Meeting — August 415

Members and Aspirants to Membership of the Healers Guild of Acarthia, be it known that in August of the 415th year of the Age of Chivalry, at the Ducal Gathering, there will be a meeting of the Healer's Guild Friday evening at 11 bells.

Due to our growing size this meeting—and our future meetings—will not be held in our Guildhall, but rather in a craft house graciously lent to us by Her Grace. Since this is our first meeting in this location I will be meeting anyone who does not know where it is at 11 PM at the Healers Guild, at which point we will head to the craft house to conduct our meeting.

Attendees will discuss promotions, promotion requirements, local events, and duties as well as have the ability to volunteer for time slots in the Healer's Guild and turn in written reports from any Trials that you have undergone. If you are a member then this meeting is required if you are able to attend it and is strongly suggested for aspirants who have not yet completed their first Trial but wish to join.

The Healers Guild would like to extend a thank you to all of the adventurers who helped in the removal of the darkness that has been investing our circles since October 413 AN. If you helped in this endeavor in any way please write a report on your experiences in the Death's Islands and the Guild will count it as a Task. If you are not yet a member of the Guild then after you have completed your initial assignment we will count this as a Task toward your next rank. If you are a Healers Defense Corps member—or looking to become a Healers Defense Corps member—then please make sure that a member of the Healers Guild mentions your assistance explicitly.

I would also like to publicly thank Panax for his work organizing the Healers Guild in the mission to the Death's Islands.

If you believe that you did anything additional worth a task in Port Reliance, Bayside, or the Death's Islands then please feel free to approach me and ask if we would be willing to consider it as a task.

In news closer to home: Sr. Guildswoman Salvia has been looking for a more rural appointment that will enable her to focus more on the community. The Healers Guild has agreed to this request and transferred her to Woodvale. She is not far away and may still come by periodically, but will not be fulfilling the role of a Circle Officer for us. As such, we are re-organizing our books to help ease the transition and, in light of his recent help over the past months organizing our books, are promoting Guildsman Faren Foresthome to the position of Exchequer as a non-officer appointment, with Officer status a possibility after he is promoted to Mender. In this role he will also be acting as our liaison to the Loremasters Guild.

The Guild greatly appreciates the work Guildsman Faren has been doing and, as part of this meeting, we will be discussing the improvements put into place in order to help us keep track of things, especially without a designated Circle Officer.

These meetings will continue to be held Friday evening at 11 bells, at the will of Her Grace Duchess Tiberion, at each Ducal Gathering. If for some reason you are unable to attend—e.g., you are not arriving at the Gathering until Saturday—then please present yourself to the Healer's Guild at the earliest opportunity thereafter so that you can sign up for a slot and receive any other pertinent information.
