Hi everyone, just thought I would introduce myself

my name is Luke Keyes, and I just recently moved up to this area from Pittsburgh, PA. I'm a game developer over in the Kirkland area.

I've been playing NERO off and on for almost 7 years now, and helped start the Northwestern PA chapter (ARGO) of NERO International. Before I left, I was a 14th level ex-human/stone elf earth bow scholar named Geezil Greentree.

I've been really looking forward to playing NERO again, as I really miss it and need something to counterbalance sitting in a cube all day.

I'd really like to attend the next event, but unfortunately I don't have a car yet (probably won't have one until July). While I've gained a reputation after walking 50 miles to an event before, that was a long time ago and I'd rather not walk again.

Is anybody on here around the Kirkland/Woodinville/Redmond area? and if so, do you think you could give me a ride to the next event?

But I more just wanted to introduce myself before I started begging for rides. so Hello!

One question - do you guy use packet archery? I played back before it was packet bows, and I think packets really give a good balance to the archery system, before it was very underbalanced.

Welcome aboard, and yes packet bows are used here. I'd also recommend seeing if you could get ahold of our brand new version 9.5 rulebook from somene on staff between now and then if possible to read though and find the differences in rules. From what I've seen it's not all THAT different, but there are definitely some in there. Look forward to playing with ya.

welcome to our neck of the woods. I dont PC much but look forward to meeting you in battle. if you stuck for a ride, and can catch a bus to seattle I could probably take you to the next event. ( i love my mini van.)

And as Jim said I am sure you will be able to find a ride to the upcoming April event, or even out to a gameday this month. I usually don't have a full car, so I may be able to give you a ride as well.
