Help with Digital photos of Alliance LARPing!

okay so this last weekend i got pics of people playing but i also got mini movie clips of some COOOOOOL STUFF!! but i called kinney drugs and they say that they can only put pictures onto a disc NOT mini movie clips. I don't really want to lose the mini movies. any suggestions? before we go much further i do not have internet at home, and at work i have a thin client so i have no way to plug the camera into a computer which is why i go to kinney drugs. help!
 
If it's digital you should be able to link your camera to your computer to upload the movies that way.
 
this would require a USB port and line correct? I'm so lost. I have an old computer with win2000 on it and sometimes it wigs out when i play bookworm cd's so i'm a little concerned with trying to upload something but i'm gonna call the computer store and see what they say about it.
 
and i just called my computer guy and he says i would need not only a USB cord but a recorder in the computer to record onto the cd and i don't have that :(

so my other option is to take it to the photographer and pay 10 bucks to have them put it on a cd blah!
 
I'm sure you can at least put them on your computer and upload them to YouTube or a similar site. Anyone can view/download them from there.
 
I know most comps come with Windows Movie Maker. You can use that to make it in to a CD format....
 
the computer guy that sold me the computer says I would need a recording drive? which aparently....i don't have :(

oh well...guess i just gotta find someone with a real computer and not delete the movies from my camera just yet....

i watched the movies last night and OH MY GOODNESS i got a REALLY terrifying flick of a "werewolf" attacking...was actually almost scary.
 
She apparently doesn't have a CD/DVD burner, Dave.
