Helping With Immersion

Howdy,
I would very much like to see our game become more immersive. The first step to that has been achieved, the formation of our deco committee but you can help. In order to maintain a sense of immersion it would be cool if people no longer displayed modern food and drink containers in in-game areas. Our deco committee is already working hard (behind the scenes) to make the communal areas look better and I would love it if we all chipped in, in our own way.

If you have a soda/energy drink take the extra minute to poor it into a glass. If you have microwaved meals, put it on a plate. A little bit of effort on all our parts can go a long way. If you don't feel like placing your items on dishes, just eat in the kitchen out of the way of people cooking.

This is me speaking from a personal preference place, not a plot or rules standpoint.

I'm Jimmy Hastings, and I approve this message.

I'm also jimmy, and this seems legit.

I can't claim any jimmyness, but I can say that I 100% agree with this and will do my part in future events to eliminate my "out of genre-ness".

Let me know anything that might help: hitting up Goodwill for drapes, sheets (and the random tablecloth they get in) to convert into table cloth is 1 idea I was thinking about (and have been doing for Oregon up til recently), I pick up cups for myself and son (as long as they look more like pottered stuff than mass produced).
