Here's a thought....

So this is kinda a question for every one but sort of pointed at the owner. Any way. If I was to make a whole ton of Garlic-Lemon Chicken who would eat it? And would you pay $5ish a plate? I can also make something for those that can't/won't eat meat. But if that sounds like a good idea let me know and I'll see if my mom'll let me kidnap her pots and pans... 8-) lol ((I have some just not enough...)

The problem is that we don't have a working oven yet.

I wont need an oven. Just something to heat it up. I can make it all at my house and bring it up. It's alot better after a couple of days any way so I's just need a stove top like thing ((i know you have one)) and I can re-warm it and serve. I'd just need to cook up some pasta and it'd be all set...

Looks like an oven is the next thing on the Fairplay list of purchases.

I know I'd be down, but I'd definitely ask an owner about the payment arrangements. I know that as soon as (a) we have a good working stove top and (b) I have the money, I'll be hosting another feast for Fairdale. I'm hoping to do it near the end of the season, once our cold weather returns. However, due to the usual catering services the site utilizes, I think the preregistration procedure is still the same, whether the meals be made by an off-site restaurant, or a player. You might earn Goblin Points instead of actual money, but I'm just quoting loose negotiations I made for my own feast. I'd ask Scott about setting it up, and look forward to eating whatever you might make! :D

Jsut be glad I'm not playing Lanna when I hand it out to every one..lol

If you instantly stir olive oil on the noodles so it causes a resist on the noodles they can be stored in 1 gal zip bags [larger gets too squished] Then when ready to serve run under super hot water. The extra oil will run off and the noodles will be hot. As for the chicken if it is pieces insted of big chunk and you are willing to stir for a while our heating trays will do the job with the least clean up. Otherwise we have hot plates and pots and pans. You would have to take charge of clean up. Getting help with food bites a big one. Use to do this a lot some one once said its how the boyscouts do it ,I would not know.

well I was thinking about getting like a couple of the buffett tray things and heatting it up on that. Duffy also said I could use his stove top thingy if I'd like. But I've got it planned out I just wanna know how many people will go for it so I can figure out if it'll be a Saturday night dinner or a Friday night snack...

And it is, it is, a glorious thing to be an Omelette King!

10 points if you know the reference.

For he is an Omelette King! (Huzzah for the Omelette King...)

*jumps up and down* Oo, ooo... My years of Gilbert and Sullivan were not wasted, for now I understand obscure references!

And on topic, garlic-lemon chicken sounds delicious! I would definitely have some.

I thought you'd be the one to chime in on that. Now, if we can only get Kevin Kline to come NPC as the Omelette King. And find someone to play Frederick and be apprenticed to an Omelette.
