Good evening... I am Plazz, both in game and out of game, I am Plazz, I have played about 5-6 games of Nero. I am currently living in Tennassee, and I have made a foothold in the area, people know me, in personal life, social life and in the game, and now I am soon to be torn from all the familarity and placed here in Olympia Washinton... to be honest, I am frightened due to the fact... I hate not knowing anyone... new settings are slightly frightening... like the first time I went to NERO was a Season Closer, wow, but enough of that... if someone would like to talk to me, or something.. I dont know, dont make me feel so lonely. :( :(
 
Hi Plazz. It's a pretty friendly group out here. I see from your profile that you do Amtgard as well. When I was doing Amtgard years ago there was a group in Olympia/Lacey called Greenwood Keep. I think they where Barony status. Also a group of very friendly people.

I'm sure you'll fit in well enough when you come out here.

Your going to be very close to the event site actally. I think its about 30 min from olympia. Should make it easy to sneek over and play a little.

Awesome, I think thats the one I will be going too, as well as Other shires in the area, and as for NERO, I played International and I hear the char I have cant be transfered and that the rules are different, I will tell you how hard it was to convert from amtgard to nero rules during a Season opener lol... But thats kool. if anyone would like to contact me I would very much appreciate it.
 
The rules aren't *that* different... you'll probably find that they're a bit more standardized really.

And, since you've played international... they allow flat blades. alliance currently does not. Head that one off now. :P
 
Welcome to the area. I have heard of Amtgard myself but never played. I am sure most people know by now that NERO is actually my first and only LARP I have and do participate in. My only character in the NERO world currently at this time is a High Elven Templar by the name of Lhrayven Glacierwind. My name out of character is Stephanie but close friends call me 'Gwen' for short, and I swear to the stars if anyone asks how that came about...I'm not telling you. Too many times have I told people how I've gotten that nickname and it's never a good enough reason, so I simply don't tell anymore. Anywho, the people above are correct, it is a fairly friendly community we have going on here. Hope you get to make it to some of the Game and Event Days, hopefully our characters get to interact as well, and hope to see you around.

Well I dont Use flatblades, so Its good, they dont give me full range of motion. The only thing that I am seriously bumbed out about is that the Char I had going, Isnt transferable, I had played 7 games and gotten so far, and now Its taking an arrow in the forhead and what am I sposed too do... I think its stupid... But Actually I plan on making it to any and all events that I have the money for, After playing in the very non-roleplayintensive game known as amtgard, Nero Was a godsend for me, I am addicted. But thank you all for talking to me, Please keep posting, it makes me feel like someone cares, Thank you "Gwen" Stephanie.. That $!%! trualy is Bannanas xD!! LOL oh goodness I make myself laugh...

Well anywho!I am here and I am checking boards Mainly the ones having to do with me... .... ... this one....

Well.. if you want to recreate it, or just dont want to start brand new, you can NPC for a while, use the gobblen stamps to cover the XP for a new charicter and remake yourself with a little build under your belt.. ask plot how that works.

Well that sounds like a novel Idea, but I was somewhere between like 75 and 100 build, wouldnt that be alot of NPCing, I mean me and my friends made Stocks for Goblin, and tons of packets, and I make really nice scrolls.. I think they are really nice... the Stocks were awesome, we rescently build a Sign for a Tavern, working on another, and if I didnt have to move, I would be building a Catapult for someone soon, I just kinda help, we work alot and we build up, and now its all being torn away!!! but I spose I could work for Logistics and Monster Town and build Plazz back to what he was... without the DisarmArm traps thing.... I wasted Build on that.. ggrrr.

Anyhow, I heard the rules were significantly different, and I look forward to getting ahold of a copy of your ruleset, and making the final desision of (Did Plazz die in the Last gather he was in, or did he just travel far far west.) or if I will be someone completely different... i did have an idea for one character, but Its a harsh harsh role.... involving lots of pain and suffering and screaming and crying.... ...

I dont talk this much in real life... I am actually quite the opposite.
