Hey everyone,

My name is Gavin and I've been playing nero here on the East cost for about 2 years now. But due to some change of plans in where i will be going to school I will be closer to this site. Instead of driving across country every month I could drive to this site. Either that or give up NERO and I know I am not going to do that. So I just wanted to ask some questions about how many people show up per event and how many you have a year. So if anyeon could help me that would be awesome. Well thank you very much for your time I hope to see you all soon.

Gavin

Yeah definatley keep playing nero...we love to have some new folks...By the way my name is Jacquelyn...people per event hmmm....I think they get about thirty...Im not really sure...I don't count.

Welcome!

Seattle weekend events get between 30 and 50 people, normally. Usually it's split about 30% NPC and 70% PC. Dan could tell you more exact numbers...

Out of curiosity, where did you used to play? Alliance or International?

alliance

I've been playing Alliance chapters. My home chapter is NH, but i've been to Mass, and HQ. I really wanna know how often you have events. Do you hold them during the winter or is still too cold to play there too? Ok thanks

Lets see last year for Oregon: last event was September, our first event this year was in January. Oregons next event is in May

Seattle had events in October, November, and December. So far this year they have had February, April, and then one coming up in June

so between the two chapters we almost have an event every month, normally we play during the winter, but tend to skip the summer months mainly July/August

Hope this helps

Great -- then no rules adjustments to get used to :). I think Cymryc and Dave have answered your 'how often' question.

The next local event is the Oregon May event, near Salem. That might be a bit far for you; the next Seattle event, held near Olympia, is the first full weekend of June.

You may want to consider having your characters fully transferred to one of the local chapters if you'll be out here for a while. Otherwise you'll need to submit transfer requests for each game several weeks in advance.

Seattle as weekend events every month between September and December, and then we usually have weekend events in Februray (which is our long weekend), April and June.

And as it was said before, we usually don't hold weekend events during July and August. It is hard to get a site during those months and the costs are extremely higher too.

But during July and August we usually have 2 games a month. And during our weekend event months we try to have at least 1 game day a month.

Our events range from 30-50, some have been even larger. Gamedays tend to be much smaller, but it would be nice to get more people showing up to them.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask away, or you can im me or email me.

I will try to get our schedule updated ASAP.

We currently have events scheduled for:

2004:

September
October
November

2005:
January

I will be scheduling an April event shortly, and we will be planning our summer game day schedule at the next staff meeting.

Ok i think i might make a trip down there for the June event to see how everything is, I have heard that there is a train that runs from about where I am here in NH to Seattle. If anyone knows anything about it or can help me find some info that would be the coolest thing ever done by any living human being....ever. So yeah thanks.
