High Magic: Foresight

Here is a question that was brought to me:

I purchase 3 levels of Foresight and I begin creation of a 10 rit item. Two of the 10 backlash. Which of the following is correct?

A) On the 1st backlash I use a Foresight and re-roll. I am now stuck with the new backlash. I use a 2nd Foresight on the next backlash and am again stuck with the new backlash. I now have 1 remaining Foresight to use at another time during the duration of the purchase.

B) On the 1st backlash I use a Foresight and re-roll. I don't like the new backlash either so I use another Foresight and re-roll again. If I still don't like it I can use my 3rd and last Foresight to re-roll again. I now take whatever backlash I get for the 2nd scroll.

A)Your first example is correct, you do not have to use all your points in Foresight if you don't want too and can save your remaining purchase.

B)Your second example is also correct. If you use all three uses of forsight you will have to take the effect of the final roll.
