I am looking for clarification to ensure I am reading this the correct way. According to the rule book:
"Second Chance: This allows the caster to make a second die roll if the first fails. For every purchase of this manipulation, the caster gains a 10% chance to avoid failing the ritual (up to a maximum of 50%)."
If the first die roll fails, does this mean that, by spending 1 high magic point, I get to re-roll with a 10% chance of success (need to roll a 1)? And if I spend 5 points my re-roll has a 50% chance of success (need to roll a 1-5)?
Thanks!
