Had a blast. Felt I didn't have any down time. Like coming down and not having any personal plot myself so I can just enjoy and not worry about if I get thing accomplished. Plus it really help me figure out what I like doing as a character. Run away.
 
Thanks for running a relatively non-stop event, despite the heat and the rain... and the wasps.

I loved the conclusion to the Curse of the Rose Farmer and like that you had things in place for the new players.

There is so much going on at our events in the lead up to Bleak (which I love) but I do worry that some people (especially new players) are getting lost in the flow of information and don't entirely know what is going on.

As a newer player it does get a bit confusing at times, however I feel that the senior players do a great job at explaining things. The Rose Farmer plot is a great example. Earlier in the day the Rose Farmer was discussed in the tavern, and the finer points/priorities were made clear while we were waiting to begin the mission. Everyone I've spoken with has been more than willing to explain things to help the game and story seem less overwhelming and more fun. I thought everyone did a great job! I had an incredible time!
 
Ok. I know Travis asked for feedback. I'm going to post some of my thoughts.

  • Waking up at 7 in the morning to a cabin filled with wasps was a terrible way to start Saturday morning. Most of the npcs got around 3 hours of sleep because of this. I think we did a killer job on 3 hours.
  • I was excited to see the conclusion to the Rose Farmer plotline. I remember being involved with it as my player 12 years ago.
  • Everyone has been really working at brining in new blood. That's great to see. Let's keep it up.
  • Chad, Travis, and myself have gotten something of a second wind on plot. Which is good to be excited about running the game.
  • I didn't get to hear it first hand but, I heard Mike had a very rousing and general worthy break charm speech he gave to Panic.
  • Our new npcs killed it, Go Diana and Frank.
