How'd we do 30th - 1st

Chad, Travis, Chris: Great opener guys. My only complaint was the weather, and I can't blame you all for that, yet.

GJ, Alison: Congrats on your new headache. ;)

I really like the tone being set for the game. It seems like many stories got started, and they all have different 'lengths' to complete. Some seemed to finish up on the weekend, some may take a few seasons. Althought I am a big fan of weekend plot it was nice to have some things, that everyone is aware of, that isn't tied up in a bow Sunday morning.

Chad as I told you after the mod, that puzzle rep you made was spectacular. As Stevie said, you should have a checklist or something so you can re-use that until the entire chapter has seen/played with it, then donate it to some coast chapter. Coupled with wall bashing golems.... very cool stuff.
I really liked the 'juggle' you guys did. I didn't notice it, but while the six of us were away you assualted the town with orcs. Didn't even occur to me until someone pointed it out on Sunday that you split some of the high/low like that. BRILLIANT! Really well executed.

All the visiting nobles seemed like they had different personalities which was cool. Chad had a plump guy "There are orcs in the woods!" all happy.

The bugs in a hole mod that went from newbies stomping through humorous to ZOMG, they're huge. Fantastic! 4's 4's goof around 4's 4's whee, Fortress! work together, 4's 4's YAY! 8's woah hangon, 10's 12's 15's, wait wha? prop monster 15 massive, Damage capping eviserates. :yummy: Then Percy opened up a can of Paralysis. You have no idea how cool it was to hear 'Resist' and not 'No effect'

Thanks to all the NPCs. You guys really make the game for us, and we appreciate it. Saw a lot of new faces, I hope you come back.

I'm sure I am missing some things I wanted to mention, oh well.

I saw a ton of new faces. And some new returning players.

We had a bunch of new npcs. I'm so proud of them. The orc battle was the highlight of that for me. They really grew over the 24 hours. When I was like, "Kill that person", "Hit him", "Advance on him" during the orc battle and you guys did all of those things it was awesome.

You new NPCs really killed it. I hope you guys come back and play more. We really appreciate it and I hope we didn't push you too hard.

First of all I want to say thank you to everybody that came out to the event both pc and npc.

Secondly, all npcs and runners were machines and I really appreciate how ragged you ran yourselves entertaining us all. Thank you so much!

One of the things I enjoyed the most is that there was always so many things going on. There were contracts all over that I saw never being used and things going on in town that we missed out on due to other wants/obligations. I had no real down time that I didn't want all weekend long and that was amazing.

The golem mod was amazing. The puzzle at the end was top notch and really made the end of that mod spectacular.

It was awesome also to see that 2 of you guys could so well challenge and make mods fun for whole groups of us at a time.

I love the fact that while the higher levels were out of town doing the golems the orcs happened in town. Was cool to come back from the mod and hear those stories.

Having all the different nobles and people to interact with in the tavern was awesome too. Even though in game my character hated most of them, I loved them out of game.

The bandit mod was one of my favorites as well. The fact that you let us choose the area of the camp and set up was amazing! I had so much fun with that mod and the roleplay at the end of it.

It was also cool that you guys tried to stay up super late being that dead tired and play Dragon Poker with the few of us as well.

All in all I had an amazing time and I thought you guys did great. Thank you again for a great game.

I will make this short and sweet:

This was an absolutely amazing event to have for my 1st event as Owner.

The NPC's were tireless machines of information and destruction. I cant thank you guys enough.

The PC's were extremely supportive of me and Alison in our new roles and willing to do whatever to help our SoMI chapter. Just amazing for me as Owner, for sure.

The Plot Team is out-of-hand. I can not believe that I was lucky enough to start this season as the Owner and have such a strong, motivated, and excited Plot Team. Without them, we would not be having events. I will never be able to thank these guys enough.

I cant wait for the non-sanctioned SoMI Symposium on May 5th @ D. Flem's house (More Details to come once I get Owner access to the boards)

I ALSO cant wait for our next event in May! Chelsea Camp Round 2! And potentially there might be a Round 3 and 4 (More details soon!)

Thanks to everyone who came out to the first SoMi event of the year! It was great to see so many old friends as well as new faces. I really want to give a shout out to all of the new players, both PC and NPC. You ALL did such a great job! I love love love having new people around to meet OOG and interact with IG.

Travis, Chris, and Chad: You did a great job! There was always the option to do many different things and I felt that both high and low level PCs were accommodated. I really enjoyed the bandit mod and the bug mod. They presented two totally different challanges and they were both very fun! The only thing I didn't like was my inability to play dragon poker without having to cart all of my crap around but I have some fun ideas for solving that:) Thank you guys for working so hard to make an immersive world for us to explore as well as working so well as a team. Your hard work really shows.

NPCs: You rocked it out! Thanks for busting your butts all weekend to entertain all of the PCs. I hope you had fun as well!

One of the major things GJ and I are hoping to achieve in SoMi is a sense of community. I really feel that we are already moving towards that goal as a group. I saw a lot of people going out of their way to talk with new players, to be respectful and helpful to each other oog, and overall there was a positive vibe to the event throughout.

I really appreciate everyone who came out to support GJ and I on our new endeavor and I hope to see all of you again soon! Your support means the world to us and what we hope to make the game.

Don't forget, we will be having a SoMi policy symposium, fight practice day, and potluck on May 5th. More on that coming soon.

My friends and I had a ton of fun getting our NPC on. I'm not a huge fan of the new camp, but it is nice to have things spread out a bit more. I loved all of the mods and didn't even realize that it was nearly 6am on Saturday and I was still up and having fun.

Unfortunately we won't be able to make it to the next event because it is the same weekend as World Steam Expo, but we will see you for the June event.
