I need aid with weapon construction

I have a pole arm, and it meets the max of all requirements, the problem with it is, it has too much whip because it is PVC pipe. It is my first weapon. How can I fix its whip with out starting over or buying a new core?

You can try putting strapping tape down the core.
Personally, I'd get a different core (Kitespar, but it's kind of expensive).
Polearm is a hard weapon to start out with, two handed weapons are tricky to make and use properly.

PVC in generally is an awful material to make a two handed weapon out of.

What Matt said about the kitespar.
.610 should be large enough around that you can just slip the foam off the PVC core and slide it onto your new core.

well I chose polearm because I know how to use it. My character is really different and not cliché, but practical
