Ad hominem. Nice politics Mike. Keep posting funny pictures instead of anything that actually matters. And I'm sure if we taped you for an hour we couldn't find any pictures of you looking goofy.

Don't you have a poli sci degree? Shouldn't you be sticking with the issues instead of belittling how someone looks on camera? I guess I just thought you'd work on a higher political level than "Look how weird McCain looks."

Disappointed,

Scott

Wow Mike, almost as if you were a politician or something. :)

I have definite opinions, and if anyone wants to join in and read them, you can join the political board I am on! :D (http://www.whistlestopper.com/forum/)

I thought the picture of McCain was funny, so I posted it... without comment.

Scott and I agree on a lot when it comes to LARPs and, actually, quite a bit when it comes to politics (concerning personal responsibility especially) but you know, we're never going to see eye to eye on politics completely, I am afraid! So that's why I don't talk about politics much on this board.

I'm not a fan of posting disrespectful pictures of candidates, presidents or other politicians in order to elicit a response...or anyone in general. I'm glad to discuss policies or why I dont' like their viewpoints.

I guess I'm not cut out for politics, as I don't insult and belittle other people to make myself look better, or at least I try very hard not to. It kind of shames me that our public leaders, from highest to lowest level, all do that and we as a society buy into it. Shrug. Give the people what they want, I guess.

I'm so glad I never considered myself part of "the people." :)

"The People" are very often just the loudest, not the actual majority. I'm not part of those people either. I like to think the majority are saddened by the state of our government (both parties) and how politicians conduct themselves during their campaigns and tenure in office.

And that we can both agree on!
