Imladari history and players

Hi,

Two questions to help me write my character history:

1) The Ashburry Player's guide states on page 103:

To the east of Blythedale lies the elven nation of Imladar. Currently, it is a small country, having been reestablished upon Tar'Navaria in 599.

Where were the Imladari beforehand? We're they rifted through the mists, with the people of Ashburry? Or did they move here from another part of Tar'Navaria?

2) Are there many other Imladari players at HQ? Any who speak some Sindarin?

I know some Sindarin, but no Quenya, so I'm inclined toward Imladari elves over Amani elves... Of course, spending time among the Amani might change that!

Thanks!

If you plan on playing an Imladari we have a separate race packet that will give you much of that information. But they were lost in the mists along with the rest of Icenia, which is why they were re-established in 599.

The Imladari elves lived in R'Kura, Trellheim for hundreds of years before Imladar was "reborn" around 598 or 599. They did not refer to themselves as Imladari at that time however. They lived in an elven conclave called Brethil Emyn within R'Kura. They were forced to leave Brethil Emyn after a devastating attack by the Kanoredhil in which the elder rulers (mother and father of the current queen) were permanently killed.
