As you sleep, and dream deeply, it is as if you are a child again. You do not remember much of the dream, except for a blind beggar, who seems to have gathered many children, yourself included, to sit beneath a great tree. The beggar's gender is not a defined memory for you, but you do remember a brown robe, a staff, and red wrapping to cover their eyes. As you look around, you spot many other children; some are complete strangers, others are your friends both alive and dead. In this moment they are alive again, and also children.

The blind beggar tells many stories, but at the end of the dream, before you wake up, you distinctly remember these words:

“Within all of you, there is potential. A potential for greatness, and a potential for treachery. When the Heroes rise up to define (and sometimes redefine) the Legends of Fortannis, their stories are told by one and all, in great songs that echo across all of existence and beyond. However, the one thing, child, that you need to learn about the world? Everyone is listening. And I do mean -every- -one-. From the brightest stars, to the darkest of gorge. And sometimes? All they wish for is for silence. Let us hope that wish never comes true.”
