Inquiring about my Lord Archmage

Walking through the streets of Calanhelm felt.. different today for Siegart.

He wasn't sure if it was the constant run-around of adventuring, the fact that he finally -was- adventuring, or the deep purple tabard now splayed across his chest, but today felt different, brighter. He had purpose in his steps these days, the last few months had gone by in a dizzying blur of speed for the eternal Tari Nor.

He was happy to be adventuring, happy to be meeting new friends and he'd been affected more deeply by his brief experience with Kaja then he really let be known. She had been perfect, a fellow troubadour who had wound up adventuring. The story of their meeting and eventual romance had reminded Siegart of how his own parents had met. Kaja's death had hurt him, and deeply, however it was a silent rage that had only thus far been taken out on any and every gnoll he'd been able to find since that day.

Today felt different though, there was happiness in the air as he made his way to the Arcane Sanctum's headquarters deep in the heart of Calanhelm. His new friend Sarryn had tasked him with inquiring as to a new curious job and adventure that he could hopefully perform with the archmage's advice.

He chuckled to himself as he pushed the doors to sanctum open. If you'd asked him at his last birthday in January what he thought he'd be doing this year, he would have happily told you he'd be working on his blacksmithing apprenticeship. He would never have believed he'd be a guard to the Grand Duchess, speaking to the Lord Archmage about an inquiry from house Remmington.

Approaching the reception desk Siegart asked the attendant, "Pardon me, I have an inquiry for the Lord Archmage but it's my first time in this building. I've prepared a letter for him if that's the protocol, I assumed he would be a busy man and probably wouldn't have time to speak in person. Can I leave this with you or should I bring it somewhere myself? My apologies at my lack of knowledge."

Today felt different, there was a good feeling on the wind and Siegart was planning on capitalizing on it.

The attendant, seeing the Heraldry of the Grand Duchess looks over the man before her. "Is this personal business, or that of the Grand Duchess?" she asks politely with a hint of curiosity in her tone.

After what seem like an eternity with no answer forthcoming the attendant returns to her duties, motioning for a War Sage to escort the poor mute Tari Nor from the building.
