My name is Solomen Tuffledhat Jupiterian Aprentice of Star Magiks. As I travel to Briarpass soon I was asked to offer a chance for anyone who wishes to come along on my journey. I'll be attempting to test for my terminal ranking within the guild and have chosen to do so by recovering the pollen of the winter flame bloom. much research has led me to beleive that a winter flame blook will flower in a cravace nestled within your mountains. I have pinpointed its location now I need only collect the dew.... The flower is set to bloom on on of your adventuring marketdays what do you know? Is that a coincidence? I think so....but my friend Diklo says some of you are good folks so whats a Hobling to do?

in either case... my master and I will travel to briarpass where i'll be asked to judge apprenctices on their progress and teach whatever I may. We'll also be accepting new members so..bring your books and prepare for adventurous learning. Afterwards i'll travel and if your a geomancer, pyromancer or evocationist of any sort then you'd have no repsect for your knowledge if you didn't see it... ITS AMAZING.... of course the pollen has to come to me since I postulate that a tincture of such pollen could be used via the correct honey bees properly trained to create the special ink nesserary for the creation of a simply conjuring of eldritch forces ive been dappling with

Oh and I forgot.... is there a Durl Shellshield around? Master Haringston says your supposed to come with on the observation as a precaution against bandits. Please come... ill pay you I have a few extra coins or better yet... perhaps you'd like a special cobbler? given to me by Mabs the Queen of Winter in exchange for my icewine recipee.
 
Yeah Durls probably gunna be in town on the next market day, I told that Haringston guy that I would be glad ta help with keepin an eye on anyone from the guild that needs it, although some cobbler sounds tastey if you happen to have extra.

You have piqued my interest. I may decide to travel from my frosty home of Albor to meet with you on the following market day. I would like to know more about this "Winter Flame Bloom" as well, and am curious as to how you train bees to create ink.

Forgive my prodding, but as my knowledge of Wayside is still incomplete, who is this master you refer to?

I would be delighted to have such a celestial master take part in my proceedings... Bees aren't making ink... the Dew and Pollen can make a substance for magical Ink if the bees can make wax and honey from the polen I can then melt it, dry it, flake it, and synthezise it as a thickening agent for this scrip. I can explain further when we meet of course.

its simple, your a dirty gypsy. PERIOD. Now your going to teach them how to do more magics, so that they can come and kill us even easier? Just grand, not only do they bring undead, but now we have to worry about them tearing us appart with star magics.

There are Romani that already know such magicks, so for you to lay claim that this is 'new' it absurd. I advise that you think before you speak...or maybe just never speak at all.

It seems that some of my close friends have found great interest in your quest, and so I shall accompany you as well...If you will permit me to. I trust that your master's will find you a more then adequate journeyman, and see fit to induct you into the Guild.

I may not see much on these walls, but when I do I'm heart broken to see such language used to describe anyone or anything. It is inappropriate and uncalled for... I know I'm a very small healer and a decent potion maker that is still trying to prove something yet I believe people should never hinder others unless a specific person merits traitor, murderer, or anything along those lines. Romani I have meet are nice, fun, and okay people...granted I haven't meet many but to just lump them together and call them names. I know about the vampire who was once a gypsi... Bart you were once a few things...should we lump you in those groups too? All I'm asking for a little curtisy and tact. If I see this I will make my way to market and the winds speak of new travel too so I'm looking forward to it. Please don't make things hard. I don't ask for much but I do ask for that at least.

It would seem that the humans of this land are driven to hate for the gypsy population. They have a reasoning behind there dislike, the gypsies herald the coming of undead. Alas, it is true.

One spiteful member of this race has a grand amount of power. He has elected to use that power to slander the name of his brethren. In so doing he has created a rift between the simple people of this nation. He has spurred farmers into taking up there tools as weapons of war. It was not but two market days ago that I saw two young farm boys with dull blunted woodcutting hatchets speaking the evils of the gypsies.

As an effect the gypsy have left this land. With them they take also their culture and rich heritage. Most unfortunate. Unfortunately it is the way it seems it must be.

There are several gypsies who come to the lands of Wayside. I do not pretend to know their motivations. Whether for justice or if it be for revenge, both seem plausible to me. At least that is what I would like to think. I would like to think that they come to seek out this great evil, this boil on the gypsy race and lance it.

So I say to you now. We have an obligation. As the people of this land who have decided to take responsibility for its protection. We must find this corruption and erase it.

Then will the hate end? It is unfortunate but no. The hate will continue, through a generation. The more level headed will see that this whole problem was a mistake and will become logical again. When there is no more need to fear the night or what it brings. Then we must count on the children's children, the ones who will see only their grandparents slandering the gypsy and not know what the feeling of fear was like.

I hope that I can live to see that day.

Its not just that they bring undead, others have stolen the children of my friend. Whenever a caravan of theirs go thru crops go missing. Toss in that they bring undead and we have plenty of reason to hate them.

Had I dhe right to, I would apologize on behalf of my brot'ers and sisters for dhese crimes, if dhey were indeed committed by Romani. I come to Wayside only to lend my aid to my friends and allies in fighting dhis...terrible t'ing upon dhe lands of Briarpass. We know dhat Romani bring undead. We seek dhe...monster..responsible for it.

But all races commit crimes from petty to devestating. To say Romani are dhe most evil because of it or do more dhan any ot'er race is preposterous.

My thoughts on this topic are well-known, so I will not repeat them.

However, I want to correct one slight wrong: brother Azaka, these words are not spoken by Desamerre of Lifestorm but by Sven Nolan, of unknown provenance.

I understand dreams can be murky, faces and voices can shift and slide at times, so there is no fault. I just wanted to correct what might have been an awkward misunderstanding.

Well you may be right Dramthin, I have a hard time understanding these whispers and dreams. I apologize if I have overstepped my bounds. I just dislike hate and prejudice because it brings loose of life and friendships. Arkemedies I do agree that this land has seen better times even if it is hard to believe. However I do believe this Hate will pass even if things get worse. If there is a balance that needs to be met. Earth to Chaos / Chaos to Earth then Hate will to Love ... Life and Death. I will hold my hope for everyone I meet, but that is me and I will not give it up.

I also apologize to those future Celestrial Casters that have to listen to a little healer (me) to say fun and strange things but that is also the way I am. Sorry
