This situation occurred (and is in occurrence) at the last Seattle event.
An Item Recall was cast upon an item, and the character suffered permanent death. The item was picked up by another character.
Item Recall does not have the same text that either Spirit Lock or Link possesses, to give instruction as to what occurs after Permanent Death.
Item Recall does have text regarding that a secondary target cannot be used for an additional Item Recall.
Thus, what occurs?
1) Should the Spirit Link text be applied to Item Recall, making the person who picked up the item the new target of the ritual (assuming they have a spirit)?
2) Does the Item Recall disappear from the item, as the secondary target no longer exists?
3) Does the Item Recall remain on the item, preventing any further Recalls from being placed on it?
4) Something else entirely.
