From Sun. Apr. 25th through Sat. May 8th Joann Fabrics is having a 50% off sale on their Linen-Look fabrics. This fabric makes excellent and durable costuming, especially for pants and shirts.

On Sat May 1st, their Country Classic Solids will be $2 a yard (50% off.) This is your standard quilters-type cotton material.
They will also have 36" Muslin on sale for $0.79 a yard. This comes in bleached and unbleached varieties and also makes excellent costuming material. The unbleached Muslin also takes dyes fairly well.
Lastly, both McCall's and Butterick patterns will be on sale for $1.99 each, up to 10 patterns, on the 1st.
 
Woot! Now, if only I could sew...
 
I just picked up 5 yards of fabric for my new kilt yesterday. Will probably have it done for this weekend (if not, the next).

All the red tag fabrics, the country classic solids (cotton), outdoor canvas and foam by-the-yard are 50% off. The foam is GREAT for weapon tips and heads! Simplicity patterns will be 5 for $5 this weekend as well.

June 3rd - 5th McCall's patterns will be $1.99
June 10th - 12th Butterick patterns will be $1.99

There will also be a couple sewing machines on sale if you're looking to pick one up, including the Singer Pixie for $49.99. It's not a very strong machine, but still pretty good for most basic costuming sewing.
