Laptop Shopping

Hey guys,

I'm currently in the market for a laptop. I'm looking for something with Windows 7, with a graphics card with dedicated memory, and something with the capability of playing games such as Command & Conquer 4, Starcraft 2, and WoW. Does anyone have any recommendations? Oh - and budget is $1000.

Dell's XPS series are pretty good but pricey. I'm not sure of their other models - I know a while ago (as in years), their laptops were wonky. The place I usually check out is Newegg.com as they have great customer service and a good selection of laptops.
 
dell laptops are fine ever since they aquired alienware. buy the warranty (obviously). all laptops regardless of manufacturer are made in asia. expect that if it breaks you will have to ship it away for repairs. hands down, dell can build the best systems. if you understand the system, you will buy through dell.
 
I like asus myself. The G60 model has a great dedicated card fast processor and feels amazing. I've had my asus laptop for three years and never had a single issue with it(aside from typical win vista issues.)
