So I am making this thread so people can discuss the matter in a "how to deal with it" vein.
One thing to start with.
Latex Weapons durability. I had one last me for a very short period of time because I was fighting someone with metal edges in he armor in a place that screamed "HIT ME". I have another that I have used now for three years with alot of abuse and very poor care and is only now beginning to come apart. I know other folks who have reported five or more years of use. The ones i own are all Excaliburs mind you and they are out of business but were always softer than others so that likely contributed to life spans of mine....and I abuse my weapons tremendously in combat (heavy heavy heavy use.)
