So I've been reading the boards and (specifically with Ohio's chapter) I noticed that latex weapons were on an approval list...

Does this mean Nero (err, alliance larp) now has latex weapons?

Could my dreams of cool weapons finally be realized?
 
Alliance legalized the use of latex weapons on a chapter by chapter basis, earlier this year. Here are the guidelines for latex weapons, before buying, I would talk to players that are using them to find out what brands & models have passed weapon checks.

Someone brought a nerf sword to the last game day, if I recall correctly, it hit pretty hard, but I didn't hear what the marshals thought of it. The nerf axe, however, was deemed to be safe.
Note that this was not official, someone had brought them for another LARP.

Those are not good in the cold or wet.
 
I brought a nerf sword, and it was denied. They said it was too small. Just FYI. :)
