Leather Pouch Patterns

I have been scouring the internet for some patterns to be able to make my own leather pouches. I have tons of leather and leatherworking tools so I figured why should I shell out $50 - $60 for a pouch when I can make one at home, right?

I found this site which has links to a pattern but I was hoping for more of a box shape instead of a scallop shape. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

We are looking at making pouches with this general shape:

Thanks!

After more searching I've managed to find this pattern: http://i.imgur.com/ByHvI.png

I'm still hoping some of you have experience or suggestions. :D

Looking at the construction, it's just one continuous rectangle of leather and then two long ovals on the sides. At 6 1/2" across, 5" tall and 1 1/2" deep... assuming 1/4" lip for sewing the leather together, a 2 1/2" overhanging lip ... *geometry mode activate!* You need a rectangle 6 1/2" x 17 1/4", and two pieces that are rectangles 2" wide, 5" long, and one end has a 1" radius half circle. Included is a not to scale measurement guide.

Looks like you found a good pattern for a flat bottom bag while I did this. The included pattern is for a rounded bottom bag.
