So much has changed about the ways of the stars. The flows of magic have changed so much recently... things old sources that I once touched with are now but a trickle while others once dry now rage like a stream through me. Even the ways of the earth have changed. People have changed too. I have observed changes in them as well, people once forsaken of the gift are now wielding it...

So much change so quickly... what has happened? I expected to hear news of some calamity, but I have heard none in any.

My research and efforts over the past years are in ruins just as I was starting to show progress. I am need some answers, so I will once again leave my wood, press back my instincts and return back to civilization. Perhaps some of my old friends are still around and still practiced in wielding the magic of the stars. Cedric, Sym, Saja, Ieukamariyn are you still there? I wish to speak to you. If not perhaps others that practice the arts can sense this reaching out, though I don't do well with new people...

Is there still a Mages guild or Sages guild in the lands of Icenia that has adventures I can talk with? I don't see any familiar faces around Ashbury... perhaps you are elsewhere. Let me know and I can make my way to you.

I do not believe we have met before, though much of my early days of adventuring in Ashbury are a blur (for good reason) so perhaps we have and I simply do not recall. I am Wizard Nathan Westwind, GuildMaster of the Fairdale Mages' Guild. I may have some of the answers you seek if you are willing to travel to our small town. Fairdale is two day’s ride southwest of Deathwatch on the border of what was once the barony of Trellheim. His Grace, Duke Frost, holds court here often because of the ongoing efforts to reclaim the Contested Lands. Some of what you ask may be best spoken of in person as it is not always wise to converse openly in the dream realm because anyone or anything could be listening in.

There is no Sage's Guild presence in Fairdale, but my Mages' Guild is every bit as legitimate as the Ashbury Guild (though admittedly smaller)and I report directly to the Royal Guild, and do so often. Sym is... or rather.. was.. my second in command (and trusted friend) until his disappearance. I can fill you in on that as well if you'd like.

Believe me, the more Celestial Mages and Wizards we have out here, the better. I assure you, your presence should be quite welcome.

I to do not know if our paths have crossed, but I thank you for your contact. I think that I shall be taking you up on your offer. I have some things to inquire to here in Ashbury so I will be staying for a short time. I prefer to travel at night so I will set out tomorrow eve and should be in Fairdale by weeks end.

I am sure someone will point me your way once I arrive but should you see me feel free to introduce yourself. I should be fairly recognizable as there are few who meet my description while not in my construct. I am a Raccoon Scavengers (or kin as I am now told we are called) wearing the the Mud and Blood of Black Forest.

When you reach Fairdale, you will find a large Tavern called the Black Stag. My Guild Hall (and the Healers Guildhall) are located within. You can seek me out there, and I will keep an eye out for you as well.

It is great to hear your voice in my dreams. I was in a rift between time and space trapped with Lauroc. We were rescued just a scant 2 days ago. I will be in Fairdale as soon as I can. I hope to get there within the next 30 days or so. I am still being questioned regarding what I saw in the rift by my leige. I apologise for not being there sooner. I look forward to being in the guild. After my extraplanar jaunt I might stay in the guild all weekend and give you time to attend other tasks.

Will Lauroc be joining you on the journey to fairdale? It have been a long time since I've seen him and I would be nice to catch up, especially in this time of change.

I am curently in Ashbury city at the Black Forest Manor, if you stop by before you leave, perhaps we can make the trip to Fairdale together. I know where the encampment is, so it may benefit you to have a guide and me to not travel alone.
