Looking to Buy.

Again I say Good Day .

I am looking to build up a collection of potions and elixirs of the healing variety.
I looking to buy as many as possible at as good a rate as possible of any level of skill.
If you have some you are willing to sell or trade, pleas let me know.
I can promise they will be used for the betterment of both Kingdom and the adventures as a whole.
As early as the first long Gather in May I can give a much better description of how they will be used.

My apologies for being vague, I wish to speak to some more people before I go further. I just wish to put out the request for what I am looking for.

Also- in anyone has any items that can help me cast a non permanent circle. I would like to discus it's purchase as well.

Thank you again for the time!

Jehan,

Thank you very much!
I fear I may need more than I can buy from you, but we shall speak when I next see you, and I do hope it is soon!

I have some potions that I don't think I'm gonna use! They're only sorta healing potions, though. They don't really close wounds, but they heal you from things like bein' quiet, or bein' frozen, or bein' just vulnerable to getting hurt. I think I have three non-quiet potions, three non-frozen potions, and one non-hurtin' potion. Oh, and one that can cure a disease! And a sleeping gas! But that's not the same. Did you want a sleeping gas, too?

I think I have an idea of what your plan is with a bunch of healing potions, Cyn. Is it "have a bunch of healing potions 'cause healing potions are pretty universally useful when trying to make sure people stay healthy and don't die"? If that isn't your plan... can I suggest a plan that I think might be good?

~ Silp

Slip,
Yes my plan is about healing potions are universal in keeping fighters and front line people up.

If you are willing to sell your potions, even the sleeping one as patients sometimes need rest, I am willing to buy.

May I ask what your idea is?

Mine focusing on free and open access to healing potions, and a battle triage.

Ha! Cyn, I'm guessing Silp's idea is "have a bunch of healing potions 'cause healing potions are pretty universally useful when trying to make sure people stay healthy and don't die".

I've started buying sh1tloads of intoxicates lately like a proper Romani should. Let me know if you ever need those.

Okay, I'll bring them for you next time I'm around! Chances are that I won't find Gaden by then, so I'll probably still be in Wayside!

My plan was just "have a bunch of healing potions 'cause healing potions are pretty universally useful when trying to make sure people stay healthy and don't die," so I guess you've got it pretty covered. But I think people would be more willin' to sell stuff to you if you were just sayin' "Hey, I'm building up a lot of potions so I can make sure folks have healing" rather than "Hey, I'm looking for potions and I swear it'll be good for people, but I'll tell you why later." I mean, that's not exactly what you said, but it was sorta like that. Anyway, people like when people are open and honest. That's why I always try to be open and honest.

That's just what I think, though.

Also, it's Silp.

Silp,

I agree with you on the honesty part. My vagueness was only because I wished to have more people on board, after an in person meeting, before making a huge announcement.

I want to put out feelers so I could mention at the meeting, I announced and is open to anyone, how much healing we have and could possibly have.

This was an exploratory dreaming. I apologize if it was too vague, I have that issue .

Please ask any and all questions you might have, either here or on the meeting post about "The Healer's Hearth"!

Dearest Avacyn,

I believe I might be of some assistance to your cause. I have studied earth magic for a few centuries and over that time I have gathered quite a collections of potions that might suit your needs.
Also I would be willing and able to craft that item you are looking for. Or I can just set up a new permanent earth circle if you'd like.
If you are interested, I can meet you in the next month or so and speak to you about the specifics and deliver some of the potions if you'd like.

Cyn and Hannibal,

I do wish to remind you, that the law does state that any formal magics cast within Fairfax do require my approval. If you wish to have something cast, you may contact me privately, and we can discuss the matter.

Hannibal and Circle Master,
I believe there is a misunderstanding- I do not wish any sort of a permanent circle. I wish the ability to drop a temporary circle to use as a triage station when things get adventurous.

I do not believe that is formal magic but I could be wrong. I have seen the temporary circle uses in the past - I just do not have the ability to do so.

I hope that made sense - no permanent circle-I am just looking to drop temporary triage circles.

Cyn,

Dropping a triage circle requires a number of resources, including a scroll to spell craft from, the regents to power the enchantment and the skill/focus of a formalist to apply the magics. I have at certain times prepared such a defense myself and have always found it to be extremely useful. I'd be happy to discuss such tatcccs if you would like when next we meet as I have made it my business over time to be able to watch a battle and determine the most efficient methods to keep everyone alive in the end. Be forewarned that my preferred methods do not always mesh perfectly with the heroics many adventurers employ however.

-Enan Bluewater

For everyone's edification, there are three basic types of Circle:
1) what is commonly called a "battle magic" circle, a 9th-circle spell which creates a circle lasting up to one hour, but the threshold of which cannot be crossed freely by the caster. Perhaps, Cyn, you are seeking an item that can be activated to cast such a circle?
2) a Limited Circle of Power, created through formal magic with an accompanying scroll, and which can be Spellcrafted by a formalist to create a circle lasting five days that can be entered and exited by the caster; this is the type to which Lord Bluewater referred.
3) a Permanent Circle of Power, which is appropriate for conducting resurrections.

When conducting business it is important to establish a common nomenclature to minimize miscommunication.

Duchess Fairfax,

Thank you for clarifying the differences between types of circles. Your wisdom is always welcome.

Cyn,

Use of a Limited Circle of Power or Permanent Circle of Power within town, whether it is spellcrafted or formally cast, requires you come speak to me privately, if said circle is of the Earth aspect. If you wish a circle of the Celestial aspect, a member of the Celestial Guild would need to be consulted - I believe it is either Frederick or Jehan Wyldweaver that is the local head of the Celestial Guild. Feel free to cast battle magic circles as you see fit.
