Members of the Mages Guild of New Acarthia and applicants:
We will be meeting in the Mages Guildhall at 10 bells in the evening on Friday of the May 415 ducal gathering. This is a required meeting for all members and strongly recommended for any applicants. If you cannot attend, please present yourself at the guildhall at your earliest convenience for briefing on the information covered and to sign up for a shift. This meeting is an hour earlier than normal due to schedule and arrival of the Ducal Guildsmaster himself, Tynun MacMillain.
At the meeting, the Mages Guild ward will be cast, and members will finalize their task rotation and shift assignments. We'll also discuss advancement, local events and news, task assignment, and members will have the opportunity to turn in reports on past tasks.
A few things to note. One, Guildmaster MacMillain will be instructing the Thamaturges that are on hand at the meeting on how to scribe spells using spell ink so even with the absence of Guildmaster Shani Vulpere from this gather, citizens will be able to copy spells (at the appropriate price). Secondly, the selling price of components will be going up at the May gather and we will be discussing that at the meeting. Lastly, teaching will be a bit more difficult this month as we are missing Guildmaster Shani, Thamaturge Aneira, Thamaturge Anders, and Guildswoman Tinder. While Guildmaster MacMillain will be able to provide some limited training it will only be immediately before or immediately following the guild meeting so please be respectful of the Guildmaster's time.
