Magic Bracelet for Sale

Nigel

Newbie
Greetings Denizens of Andar

My name is Nigel Peaks. Wanderer, Traveler and Professional Opportunist. The wanderings have begun to take to my boots again and I find myself traveling to your fair country. I plan on stopping off at the Crossroads to rest my feet, hear stories and find out where my next journey should take me.

As such, I will be seeking room and board for my stay and plan on exchanging such grattitude with a short performance of my fire eating routine upon Saturday evening. In addition, within my travels, I have come across a bracelet of some power. The places that I have been do not have the proper appreciation (or coin) for such a piece of work and I wish to see if there are any in your well cultured area that might be interested. The bracelet's power will expire in 10 months from now and it contains the following powers that each happen once per day:

Cloak Alteration
Cloak Command
Bane Curse
Cloak Greater Command
Cloak Necromancy
Cloak Summoned Force

I have been informed by various scholars of the arts in Andar that such a piece would have a fair price at 120 gold coins. I am, of course, always willing to look for a fairer price than that so will be willing to accept offers even higher. I plan on selling the item to the highest bidder shortly after my fire eating performance so I'll need to have your final bids by then.

I appreciate your time in this matter.

Sincerely,
Nigel Peaks

Greetings, Nigel!

It is good to hear that you will be in Andar soon. Unfortunately, the Crossroads has been going through some strange issues lately and I am not sure if there is public rooming available - my assumption is that the Adventurer's Quarter still has places to stay, but I cannot guarantee that for sure.

Dear Baron Lissenstine,

I appreciate your welcome. I hope to show you that I am worthy of such a warm greeting and not be chased out of town via pitchforks like the last one I was in. It is a long story involving a certain Sarr promised to a nobleman, an accidential consumption of some mint tea and some misunderstandings on everyone's part.

Anyway, Bandoleer Laetshi has been kind enough to offer me some lodging, if he can find me a coner to shove me into. If nothing else, I am no stranger to finding a large tree with plenty of canopy to sleep under - even in this weather.

Good day to you and I look forward to meeting you.

Sincerely,
Nigel Peaks
