So your saying that any 1 year dragon stamp item, for example cloak curse 2/day, can be shattered?
I had always thought that magic items are un shatterable excluding the times ever items, unless that changed when they removed the expiration date.
Rulebook under shatter: If the item being carried is protected against the shatter ( such as by being strengthened or by being a magic weapon) then the psell is used up and will not affect another similar item in the possession of the target.
I can create a magic weapon - Damage aura with no extender, all items are now 1 year. So this can now be shattered??
EDIT* This rule would also include most of the goblin stamp items as well...
Magic items are not by nature "unshatterable". Only items which have a ritual which explicitly states that it makes the item unshatterable will be unaffected by Shatters, Destroys, and Explosive traps.
These rituals include:
Render Indestructible
Render Indestructible Improved
Preserve Duration
Permanence
